Tour Outlines

Tuscany / Sardinia

The Tuscany Tour is for 7 days and includes day trips around many beautiful parts of Tuscany. We can go to the Ducati factory and museum over the famous Futa Pass, down to the beautiful island of Elba, through the Chianti wine region, over to Pisa and the coastal town of Viareggio, through the mountains of southern Tuscany on roads you won't believe - beautiful surfaces, very little traffic, and lots of bends, through magnificent countryside. We try to keep off the main roads and instead travel through the local roads. We go to lots of beautiful mountain villages with great little cafes for lunch. We can visit Siena, one of the  most beautiful cities in the world, and can go to Florence as an option. We also visit Sardinia with its fantastic sweeping bends and rugged coastline and stay for a couple of days. We are based at Colle Di Val D'Elsa in the heart of Tuscany. We do thousands of bends and visit many fantastic places over the 7 days. At night, we can either have a barbeque in the beautiful garden of our apartments or can go to one of the many cafes in our 600 year old village. Our apartments have cooking facilities, so if you like, you can prepare your own meals with great local Italian foods.

The Dolomites / Switzerland

The Dolomites is one of the most spectacular mountain regions in the world and a motorcycling mecca. It has lots of wonderful mountain passes to ride over with breathtaking riding and more breathtaking scenery. There are thousands of bends and quite a few challenging hairpins. If the weather is good, we even go over the most famous road pass of them all, the awe inspiring Stelvio Pass, the highest road pass in Western Europe. The 7 day tour actually starts at Mandello de Lario, on Lake Como, the home of Moto Guzzi, so you can do a tour of the Moto Guzzi museum before or after the tour. On day 1, we ride into Switzerland up to St Moritz, where we have lunch and then over parts of the Swiss Alps, through a huge national park, and then back into northern Italy, before proceeding on to the western Dolomites. We stay there for 3 days, doing day trips over the mountain passes, phenomenal riding !  We then ride over to the eastern Dolomites, we we stay for 2 days. On day 5, you can visit Slovenia and /or Austria. We then proceed back to Mandello de Lario on a more southern route, wrapping around beautiful Lake Garda, or over the a few more mountain passes.

Once you book a tour, you will get a more detailed itinerary and I give everyone detailed maps, just in case !
